Well we woke up to an interesting situation this AM, 1/4” of ice on our back deck, yard, house.... you get the picture.  Another fun ice storm has hit Portland.  I'm not sure of the outlook yet.  Hopefully it will be gone by Monday!  I'd post a picture, but it's so little ice that you can't even really tell it's there.

Once I arrived in Seattle, on the 24th, my sister picked me up, and we made the way to our parents' house.  Shortly after arriving, Dawn, Katherine and my mom came back from church, and were joined by our closests friends.

The rest of the evening was spent consuming wine, food, and laughter.  It was good to see our friends that we had not seen for so long. 

The next day we woke up to find that Santa had been to the house.  Katherine was so excited, and even got the 'Lite Brite' she had so desperately wanted.

I'll be traveling up to Seattle this weekend.... up to see the family.  Dawn is already up there and has been since Wednesday.  I'm taking the train up, and actually looking forward to the ride... 3.5 hours w/ no interuptions and my computer!  I'll get some more of this blog stuff figured out.
